SkanTrans-PSL win "Supply Chain Innovation Award" at The Bookseller Industry Awards 2013
SkanTrans-PSL are the winners of The Bookseller Industry Awards 2013 in the Supply Chain Innovation category.
The Winners were announced at a glitzy evening event held at the Hilton Park Lane, London on Monday 13th May.
SkanTrans-PSL provide a variety of services for the Book Industry including International consolidated freight, Pack to Order, and Fulfillment.
The Bookseller is the leading business magazine for the book industry, reaching all major booksellers and publishers in the UK and in nearly
100 countries worldwide. Winning this award is a major result for Skantrans-PSL as these Awards are highly prestigious, and not within our own sector!
PSL Freight have yet again scooped an Industry Award
This time at the Annual British International Freight Association Awards Luncheon held at The Brewery in London.
John King , Managing Director, attended with senior Directors/Staff and received the Supply Chain Management Award from Host Derek Redmond.
The Submission for the Award was based on a project to provide a Norwegian Client with an innovation solution. The Award Judges summed it up as follows:-

This involved a radical strategy of implementing 'pack-to-order' in the UK, instead of standard consolidation, resulting in a priority-driven supply chain
with reduced costs, fewer returns, and improved 'order to delivery' time
